Join Free Jacks players and community staff for a fun day of youth rugby skills\, games and rugby development. \nRegistration is open to both boys and girls aged 5 to 16. The clinic will take place at Veterans Memorial Stadium\, 850 Hancock St\, Quincy\, MA from 2pm-3:30pm on Saturday April 09. The Free Jacks kickoff vs Seattle Seawolves at 4:30pm. \nTo teach the game\, its encompassing values\, and the Free Jacks way in a system manufactured with fun\, safety and connection as a priority.  \nLearn the Free Jack way through learning fundamental skills\, and develop understanding of the game in a 70:30 safe/small sided game/fundamental skill split. \nRegistration for youth participants includes tickets to the Free Jacks match for those not already a ticket holders.  Accompanying parents/guardians must purchase or have a ticket to Free Jacks festival. \nFree Jacks ticketing staff will send all tickets on April 08 via email for seat access in XV Blue Section 9 of the stadium. \nWe look forward to seeing you soon!

DESCRIPTION:For athletes selected following the fall tracking days throughout New England\, the New England Free Jacks are holding three training sessions on December 5th 12th and 19th for a preliminary Junior Jacks training group (Under 16 and Under 18 levels).  \nThe sessions will be held by Free Jacks Academy coaches from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM with an option to sign up for specialized skill top ups from 10:15 – 11:00 AM.  \nParticipants can expect to continue to develop their core technical competencies and tactical understanding of the game at a deeper level. Participants will learn of the ‘Free Jacks Way’ in respect to execution\, and behaviors/standards expected of those involved at the New England representative level. Participants will begin to train as a ‘squad’ with intention to refine playing groups in 2021 and beyond. \nThese events will be held with COVID safety as the priority. Key practices in this respect will include strictly monitored pre-session screening\, mandatory masks\, non-contact training\, and modified session make-ups to ensure participant safety. \nTo qualify as an Under 18 or 16 player\, the player must be 17/15 or younger respectively on January 1 of the calendar year. DESCRIPTION:Work hand in hand with New England Free Jacks Head of Physical Performance\, Jared Collinson\, Lead Academy Coach Tadhg Leader and Academy Coaches for an intensive 2x per week skills and strength and conditioning 6 week block held at the Free Jacks own headquarters\, the Forge. This program is for players of all levels. The focus will be on the improvement of each individual’s physical and skill based capacities. Boys and Girls\, men and women of all levels will thrive during this individualized block! \nFor participants 10 years and older. Groups will be no more than 10 and will abide by current state regulations. \nWeek One will consist of a holistic evaluation of your skill set and movement capabilities\, from which we will design individualized programs to cater to your needs. \n6 weeks of training will culminate in a final evaluation in Week Six where you will receive a final evaluation and needs analysis from our HP staffing group.

Participants in the tracking program\, Free Jacks camps\, and skills clinics may be invited to participate in future Junior Jacks competition programs. \nThe Junior Jacks program aims to provide high performance training opportunities to young players looking to advance their rugby and provides a clear pathway for players who show the required potential\, ability and desire to reach the professional Major League Rugby team as a homegrown player. \nThe program invites young players around New England to compete and train together within the Free Jacks high performance environment. With access to world-class coaching\, skill development\, and competition\, players will receive an unparalleled development environment to pursue high performance rugby. \nTravel the world with the Junior Jacks world tour. Annual age-specific tours will take select players on the Junior Jacks squads around the world to experience rugby at the global level.
