DESCRIPTION:Event Details: Ahead of the 2023 representative season\, the New England Free Jacks are hosting an Identification Day on the 16th of April for Under 23 athletes. This opportunity goes out to all those who have aspirations of being selected for the New England Independents side which will compete in fixtures against various high level opposition across the months of May and June. \nThis Identification day will consist of skill/athletic based rotations finishing in a live scrimmage on Veterans Memorial Stadium and will be run by Free Jacks Academy Staff and Players. DESCRIPTION:No rugby experience necessary! Join the Free Jacks 2nd annual Flag Rugby Fest and compete in teams at Veterans Memorial Stadium with New England Free Jacks players. The Flag Frenzy Rugby tournament will take place at the Free Jacks “Heroes Among Us” Festival before the Free Jacks kickoff against the New York Ironworkers on April 30th. Register as a team of 15 or as an individual to join teams with Free Jacks Players and compete. Registration is open to both boys and girls ages 5 – 18.\n\nThe event will take place at Veterans Memorial Stadium\, 850 Hancock St\, Quincy\, MA from 9:30am-12:00pm on Sunday April 30. The Free Jacks kickoff vs New York Ironworkers kicks off at 3:00pm.\n\nHow to play\n• 7 players on the field\n• Rolling Subs\n• Five points for a try\n• Flag pull equates to a tackle\n• Ball through legs to restart play\n• 5 touches leads to turnover\n\nRegistration for youth participants includes tickets to the Free Jacks match for those who are not already ticket holders.  Accompanying parents/guardians must purchase or have a ticket to Free Jacks festival. Free Jacks ticketing staff will send all tickets via email for seat access in XV Blue Section 9 of the stadium.
