Join us at Veterans Memorial Stadium on Sunday, April 30th, as we celebrate and honor the commitment of law enforcement, first responders, and public safety personnel who keep our communities safe.
To help us celebrate we have invited country music star Alexandra Kay to kickoff festivities on the main field at 1:30pm with a full set of powerful headline-grabbing country music before the Free Jacks take on rival New York at 3pm.

Enjoy tasty Chowder while exploring the amazing 1st responder vehicles in the Touch-A-Truck experience in the fan zone. Wear your favorite superhero costume, prizes awarded to the best and most creatively dressed.

Alexandra Kay started her country music career independently at age 22, she began by recording cover videos of 90’s country music favorites and posting them on her Facebook fan page, generating millions of plays weekly. With a voice reminiscent of Dolly Parton, Alison Kraus and Leanne Womack she demands the attention of country music fans. In 2022, she toured with three-time Grammy® winner and country music legend, Tim McGraw, played at some of the biggest festivals of the summers and headlined her “Backroad Therapy Tour” with multiple sell-outs. Her recent release of a countrified acoustic rendition of Blink-182’s chart-topping hit, “Dammit”, went viral across platforms.

Coming off a 2023 MLR season Round 5 victory at New York, our Free Jacks are looking to make it a whitewash in the famed Chowder Cup this year against arch nemesis, New York Ironworkers. Be a part of history as the drama unfolds in the next edition in this deep rooted rivalry at 3pm ET, televised regionally on NBC Sports Boston and streamed on TheRugbyNetwork.
tOUCH-a-TRUCK PRESENTED BY NORFOLK COUNTY SHERIFFS & FRIENDS
A great family fun event for kids and kids at heart to explore 1st responder trucks, police vehicles, ambulances, and other massive mobile machines. This event is free and will be in the Free Jacks fan zone prior to the Free Jacks vs New York match 12-3pm at Quincy’s Veterans Memorial Stadium, thanks to our friends at the Norfolk Country Sheriff’s Office.
Chowdaaah Head-to-Head Tasting
Will it be New England’s favorite Clam Chowder or that nonsense from Manhattan with tomatoes? You decide. Bring an empty belly and buy your favorite cup of chowder in the Fan Zone, available 1-3pm before your Free Jacks boil New York in the next edition of the on-field Chowder Cup. No tickets in advance for the off-field chowder soup offerings–just purchase as much chowder as you want on match day and vote for your favorite: the creamy awesomeness of New England Chowdaaaaaaah or Dirty Dishwater Craphattan Chowder. YOU DECIDE.
fREE jACKS FLAG FRENZY YOUTH RUGBY
No rugby experience necessary! Join the Free Jacks 2nd annual Flag Rugby Fest and compete in teams at Veterans Memorial Stadium with New England Free Jacks players. The Flag Frenzy Rugby tournament will take place at the Free Jacks “Heroes Among Us” Festival before the Free Jacks kickoff against the New York Ironworkers on April 30th. Register as a team of 15 or as an individual to join teams with Free Jacks Players and compete. Registration is open to both boys and girls ages 5 – 18.
Registration for youth participants includes tickets to the Free Jacks match for those who are not already ticket holders. Accompanying parents/guardians must purchase or have a ticket to Free Jacks festival. Free Jacks ticketing staff will send all tickets via email for seat access in XV Blue Section 9 of the stadium.
