Quincy, MA – The New England Free Jacks (Major League Rugby) today secure the number one overall seed in Major League Rugby with tonight’s 57-5 victory over New Orleans Gold. The Free Jacks will host the MLR Eastern Conference Finals on June 19 at 3pm at the team’s home stadium, Veterans Memorial Stadium, in Quincy, MA.

The Free Jacks lead MLR in league points and victories with 13 wins this season, earning the single season most wins in the history of the MLR. The Boston based pro rugby team will conclude the regular season this Friday June 3rd against New York. The team will then face the winner of the Eliminator Round in the Eastern Conference Finals on June 19th at Veterans Memorial Stadium. As the number one overall seed, the Free Jacks would be in line to host the Major League Rugby Championship on June 25th should the team secure the win.
