free jacks take on MIAMI SHARKS
Sat April 6, 2024
New kids to the MLR Miami Sharks ship up to Boston on April 6th, making their first ever appearance at Veterans Memorial Stadium to take on the Free Jacks.
2024 is Miami Sharks inaugural season and they will have a point to prove with a strong international roster as they head up the Eastern Seaboard to Fort Quincy. Not all of the Sharks are new to the MLR and Free Jacks Fans are likely to see the return of Stan Van Den Hoven, this time wearing pink after transferring to Miami from the Free Jacks earlier in the year.
Head Coach of Miami José Pellicena will be looking to make an impact with the Sharks and his first signing, Tomás Cubelli, legendary Argentina Puma, will share the same sentiment. This Argentinian influenced team is likely to bring physicality and pace to New England. Prepare for a hard hitting action packed game.
Frosé Festival
Ride like the wind into the Free Jacks Frosé Fest featuring 2 delicious frosé slushies. Stormalong Cider and Vitamin Sea Brewing will also be bringing a variety of beers and ciders to choose from.
Participants will receive 10 beer and cider tickets and 4 Frosé tickets.
The ambiance will be further enhanced by the melodies and breezy vocals of Buoys of Summer, as we transport you to a world of vintage sophistication. Smooth sailing ahead! Come relax, work on your tan, and enjoy friendship and frosty amazingness.
fAN ZONE
Buoys of Summer The Buoys of Summer pay tribute to the smooth-sailing, silk-stocking SoCal sounds of the 70s and early 80s. Characterized by memorable melodies and polished production, this music often features a breezy tempo, with simple lyrics flowing through a gentle current, and Michael McDonald on backing vocals. Acts like Kenny Loggins, the Doobie Brothers, and Steely Dan define the genre.

MONUMENTAL 7S
The Monumental 7s, hosted by the New England Free Jacks is the National Collegiate Rugby Championship Qualifier. This tournament is a step on the road to the 2024 NCR Collegiate Rugby Championship National 7s.
In 2024, Indiana University won the second annual Monumental 7’s tournament. Join us to see some top class collegiate rugby at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
