Brock Webster
A versatile and tenacious wing/fullback from Uxbridge, Ontario, Brock Webster has been a rising force in both the sevens and fifteens formats for Canada.
Known for his speed, resilience, and ability to break through defenses, Webster has racked up numerous accolades that showcase his elite rugby skills. A former standout with the Toronto Arrows, he was named Rugby Canada’s Young Player of the Year in 2018 and demonstrated his scoring prowess on the world stage at the 2022 Sevens Rugby World Cup, where he led Canada as their top point-scorer.
Webster’s comfort in high-pressure environments is expected to elevate the Free Jacks’ attack, bringing a level of intensity and poise that only comes from competing at an elite level. Josiah Morra
Joining the Free Jacks as another dynamic outside back, Josiah Morra is widely known for his aerial prowess and explosive finishing abilities.
Morra made his Rugby Canada sevens debut at just 18 years old, and over the last nine years, he’s become a cornerstone of the team, securing major accomplishments like a silver medal at the 2019 Pan American Games and leading Canada to its first World Series win in Singapore that same year. He was Canada 7s’ top try-scorer in 2023 and made his fifteens debut against the Netherlands in 2022.
Standing at 5’11” and weighing in at 207 lbs, Morra’s unique blend of agility and strength will make him a formidable presence on the field. His familiarity with fellow Canadian players on the Free Jacks roster will also help him settle in quickly and add cohesion to the team’s strategy. Morra looks forward to embracing the Free Jacks’ winning culture, which he believes will push him to new heights both on and off the pitch.
