THROUGH THE PARTNERSHIP HARPOON BECOMES THE OFFICIAL BEER PARTNER OF THE NEW ENGLAND FREE JACKS FOR THE TEAM’S INAUGURAL 2020 SEASON IN MAJOR LEAGUE RUGBY
BOSTON—February 20, 2020—The New England Free Jacks and Harpoon Brewery today announced a partnership with the kickoff of the Free Jacks Inaugural Season in Major League Rugby. Through the partnership Harpoon becomes the Official Beer Partner of the New England-based MLR team, and will be showcasing the Harpoon Beer Garden at all Free Jacks home matches.
Harpoon, a pioneering New England craft brewery that is available in most states in the MLR, and the Free Jacks will work together to create a world class entertainment and hospitality experience for all fans that attend Free Jacks matches.
“Through the partnership, the Harpoon Beer Garden, located on the north berm overlooking the field of play, will feature Harpoon products, including New England’s original IPA and other seasonal beers.”
The New England brewery’s entertainment experience, built from more than 30 years hosting events at its own brewery, will aid the Free Jacks as they look to create a fun festival atmosphere around the game of rugby.
