The Free Jacks are back on the road again this week, as they head off to DC after a win at home against Dallas in round 14. Entering this weekend, New England remains atop the Eastern Conference with an 8-4 record after the 26-24 win last Sunday. They are 6 table points above 2nd placed NOLA, and 10 over 3rd place Chicago.

There were many standout performances against Dallas. Starting off with fullback Reece Macdonald, who returned from a shoulder injury to pick up where he had left off, leading the team with 138 running meters. Chilean captain Martín Sigren also had his best performance of the season, leading the team in tackles with 19, and carrying the ball 7 times. Additionally, Jayson Potroz led the team in scoring, with 11 points to his name, and Ethan Fryer scored his first try of the season.

In DC, the Free Jacks will look to keep the momentum going, so expect overall continuity in the lineup, as the team enters a decisive part of the season with 4 games left to go.

The Free Jacks hosted Old Glory DC in Quincy back in Round 2, in a game where DC snatched a 35-34 victory with a last second conversion to end the game.

Old Glory DC is back at home this week after a 47-29 win at the Maryland SoccerPlex against Anthem RC in Round 14, in which prop Steven Longwell scored 3 tries in an impressive second-half offensive display by the home side.

DC currently sits 4th in the Eastern Conference with a record of 5-5-2, and a total of 30 points (10 points behind the Free Jacks). 

DC is a tough and direct team, with a big forward pack that excels in the set-piece, through front rowers Steven Longwell and Jack Iscaro, combined with their back row combination of Faanana-Schultz, Daniel, and Bavaro. Their backline has experienced players and likes to control territory through their accurate kicking game. Keep an eye out for flyhalf Jason Robertson and winger Axel Müller.
