Free Jacks Reload Roster with the return of more 2024 Champions
The New England Free Jacks are excited to announce the return of four dynamic players to the roster for the 2025 season: Isaac Olson, Malakai Hala-Ngatai, Foster Dewitt, and Killian Coghlan. These players bring experience, skill, and international distinction, further strengthening the Free Jacks’ pursuit of another championship title.

Isaac OlsonÂ
Isaac Olson has been a key contributor since joining the Free Jacks in 2022. The Canadian international, known for his versatility in both the center and wing positions, first made his national debut against Belgium in 2021. He represented Canada’s U20 team and developed at the Pacific Pride Academy, where he honed his rugby skills before moving to the Free Jacks.Â

Malakai Hala-Ngatai
Malakai Hala-Ngatai, a 6’0″, 270-pound prop from New Zealand, adds immense strength to the Free Jacks’ front row. Having competed with the Hurricanes U20s and representing Manawatu in New Zealand’s National Provincial Championship, Hala-Ngatai made his debut with New England in 2024, contributing to their recent championship victory. His performance in Major League Rugby has demonstrated his potential, building on his experience with New Zealand’s U20 team and positioning him as a player to watch in 2025. ​

Foster Dewitt
Foster Dewitt, another Canadian international and Free Jack since 2022, returns with a formidable reputation in the front row. At 6’0″ and 250 pounds, Having debuted internationally in 2021, Dewitt brings a physical and strategic edge that bolsters the Free Jacks’ forward pack, a contribution highly valued in the team’s consecutive championship victories​.

Killian Coghlan
 Killian Coghlan, a Boston-born and Ireland-raised talent, rounds out this returning roster with a unique dual background. Coghlan, who played for University College Cork and represented USA U20s, is known for his agility and sharp playing style as a center or wing.
