Free Jacks Welcome Back Sole, Von Dadelszen, and Nordli-Kelemeti for 2025
As the New England Free Jacks look toward the 2025 season, fans can rejoice as three integral players return to the lineup: Tevita Sole, Piers von Dadelszen and Cameron Nordli-Kelemeti. Each player brings unique strengths and a commitment to the Free Jacks’ culture, fueling the team’s pursuit of continued Major League Rugby success.

Tevita Sole: A Tongan Powerhouse in the Scrum
Entering his fourth season with the Free Jacks, Tevita Sole is a versatile prop, able to play at either the Loosehead or Tighthead position. After a brief stint on Loan with the Miami Sharks last season, Tevita played a key role in the MLR championship match, demonstrating his resolve and explosiveness in securing a championship for the franchise. This Fall, Tevita has been a key component of a strong Mystic River scrum in the American Rugby Premiership which won the campaign this past weekend. With roots in New Zealand’s Bay of Plenty academy and international experience from Tonga’s U20 team, Sole’s return is a massive boost for the Free Jacks as they pursue another successful season.

Piers von Dadelszen: 2024 Free Jacks Rookie of the Year
The reigning Rookie of the Year, Piers von Dadelszen, returns to the Free Jacks with his sights set even higher. Known for his aerial lineout skills and versatility with the ability to play in either the second or back row, Piers has already earned a reputation as a relentless competitor impressing with his mobility around the pitch and aerial work. At 6’4” and 242 lbs, Piers made an immediate impact last season, playing in 17 matches, scoring 2 tries, receiving 29 lineout takes and stealing 6 opposition lineouts. An Oxford University graduate with an engineering degree, Piers brings not only skill but intellectual rigor to the pitch. His continued growth with the Free Jacks could be game-changing for the team’s back-five.

Cam Nordli-Kelemeti: The Dynamic Playmaker
Born in Fiji and developed in England, Cam Nordli-Kelemeti made his debut with the Free Jacks in 2024 making 14 appearances during the championship campaign. As a seasoned scrumhalf, Cam brings impressive credentials from the English Premiership, including experience with the Newcastle Falcons and a loan stint with the Jersey Reds. Known for his game breaking ability, Cam is an exciting player whose skills can open up defenses and dictate play at critical moments and his return is sure to spark the Free Jacks’ attack in 2025.
