12 Free Jacks Matches to be Presented on NBC Sports Boston
QUINCY, MA – The Free Jacks and NBC Sports Boston today announced a Regional Broadcast Partnership for the 2022 Major League Rugby season. NBC Sports Boston will present 12 of the Free Jacks regular season matches outside of the designated MLR national broadcast fixtures.
The partnership expands the Free Jacks burgeoning community and see’s New England’s elite professional rugby team featured on the leading broadcast network for New England sports with a greater reach to over 4 million households across Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.

The Free Jacks 2022 MLR season kicks-off on February 4th when the team travels to New Orleans to take on NOLA Gold. The MLR regular season runs through June 3rd with the Championship Final slated to take place June 25/26th. Highlight matches to be aired on NBC Sports Boston include the Free Jacks season home opener on Saint Patrick’s Day Weekend at Veterans Memorial Stadium versus Toronto Arrows and rivalry matches versus Rugby New York on March 6th and June 3rd.
