2024 Snowbound Shield Share: Official Contest Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

HOW TO ENTER

The contest will begin on November 15th, 2024, at 12:00PM ET and end Nov 18th, 2024, at 12:00PM ET.

To participate in the contest, you may enter via the following method(s): Post a video to your story on Instagram or Facebook of you (and/or) your friends with the Free Jacks Shield and tag @nefreejacks for a chance to win. Instagram or Facebook entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of social media account submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to said account.

The Free Jacks are not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches.

More than 1 submission per account is allowed.

ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

The contest is open to all persons who are 18 years of age or older and who reside in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont. Employees of Free Jacks, its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win.

All winners must sign a participant release waiver.

Contestants are required to provide truthful information and the Free Jacks will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. The Free Jacks will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and the Free Jacks will also delete any entry received from persons knowingly under the age 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.

PRIZES

Four tickets to a pre-decided, Free Jacks Match within the 2025 season. Retail value of up to $400 total.
Access to the Free Jacks VIP. Restrictions apply and this can be canceled by the Free Jacks at a moment’s notice.

All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Free Jacks at the address below. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within 18 hours of winning. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss. The Free Jacks are not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.

There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Free Jacks may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

Decisions of Free Jacks management with respect to the contest are final.

Winner to be contacted by 6pm ET, Nov 19th 2024

Submittals will be judged in these five categories by Free Jacks media and marketing staff:

Creativity

Color

Cohesion

Costume

Collaboration

Winners must execute and return a Release of Liability Prize Acceptance Form before the prizes can be awarded. Prize(s) will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be chosen.

CONDITIONS

Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.

By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.

Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Free Jacks in its sole discretion will require contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Free Jacks, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.

The Free Jacks, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Free Jacks’s Web Site or is otherwise in violation of the rules. It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.

The Free Jacks reserve the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Free Jacks, any competition or prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or canceled, the Free Jacks reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.

Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Free Jacks.

The Free Jacks are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.

SPIN THE WHEEL COMPETITION

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Visit the New England Free Jacks booth at Snowbound Expo during event hours.
Each eligible participant is allowed one spin of the prize wheel per day.
Spinning the wheel constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

PRIZES
Prizes are awarded based on the random outcome of the wheel spin.
Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
The Free Jacks reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
The Free Jacks are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, including but not limited to technical errors or human errors, that may occur during participation.
The Free Jacks reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the competition in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond their control.

PUBLICITY RELEASE

By participating, each entrant consents to the use of their name, likeness, and prize-related information by the New England Free Jacks for promotional purposes in any media without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the New England Free Jacks, Snowbound Expo organizers, and their respective affiliates from any liability, claims, or damages arising out of participation in the competition or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize.
The Free Jacks are not responsible for any personal injuries or property damage resulting from participation in this competition.

DISPUTES
Any disputes arising from this competition will be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
All decisions made by the New England Free Jacks regarding the competition are final and binding.

PRIVACY

The personal information collected during participation will only be used to administer the competition and will not be shared with third parties, in accordance with the Free Jacks’ privacy policy.

SPONSORS

The competition is organized by the New England Free Jacks (1400 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02169).

MISCELLANEOUS
Any provision of these terms deemed invalid or unenforceable shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
Failure to enforce any provision of these terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

By participating in the Snowbound Spin the Wheel Competition, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
