A native of Ottawa, Ontario, Casey is a University of Victoria graduate and has represented Canada at Junior levels. In 2023 he was called up by the senior Canadian team for their tours of Tonga and Spain, and made his debut against the polynesians. He was drafted by the Free Jacks in the first round of the 2023 Draft.
