After an stellar club career for Tukapa in the New Zealand region of Taranaki, Potroz was signed by NPC side Taranaki in 2018 and has gone on to play 40+ games with the team, including through their 2023 championship. In his first season as a Free Jack, also in 2023, Potroz led the league scoring, was named ‘MLR Player of the Year’ and MVP of the championship final.
