Joel Hintz comes to New England from Masterton, New Zealand with a highly skilled rugby background. He’s played for Hawke’s Bay where he won the 2020 NPC Championship after winning the Ranfurly Shield with Canterbury in 2017. Hintz has also been a part of the training squad for Super Rugby’s Hurricanes. A man of immense strength not only as a tighthead prop, Hintz is a world champion powerlifter, known to squat 300kg.
