Rugby In a Bag Presented by The New England Free Jacks and MYRO

The Rugby in a bag program provides those who sign up rugby equipment (bags of rugby balls and flags) and teaching direction with the objective of getting the rugby oriented program into as many classrooms as possible.

Through the program, players from New Englands professional rugby team (The Free Jacks) will attend a session with the class and speak about their learnings from the game as well as getting involved with the session.

Rugby is a sport that promotes ambidexterity, movement and space identification, skills that transfer well across sports. Elements that apply to life such as respect, accountability, work ethic and growth mindset are promoted through the sport.
