Larry Gelwix is a Partner and Head of Industrials at Solomon Partners, a leading financial advisory firm. Larry advises clients on strategic mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, minority investments and debt and equity financings, with a particular focus on aerospace & defense and mission-critical industrials. Prior to joining Solomon Partners, Larry was with Greenhill & Co. and Lehman Brothers.
Larry has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an Honors BS from the University of Utah.
Larry played rugby at the University of Utah, finishing as USA Rugby D1 Runner-up National Champions in 2002. Larry’s rugby career began at Highland High School in Salt Lake City, UT, where he was part of four USA Rugby National Championship teams.Â
Larry lives in Wilmette, IL with his wife and three daughters.Â
