Free Jacks Academy team, New England Independents Announce their roster ahead of Historic Ulster Academy Match • kick off, thursday may 16 – 10:30am est

The New England Free Jacks senior men’s academy team, the New England Men’s Independents U23s, have landed in Belfast ahead of Thursday’s match against Northern Island powerhouse, Ulster Academy.

This marks an historic occasion for the Free Jacks organization, embarking on the club’s first ever international trip. It is an opportunity to return the favor to Ulster following their participation in the 2019 Cara Cup hosted by the Free Jacks in greater Boston, and continues the exponential growth of the Free Jacks Academy in providing further high-level opportunities for New England rugby athletes. The New England Independents program has seen 16 players go on to represent various MLR franchises, Ethan Fryer (Free Jacks) and Connor Robinson (Dallas Jackals) of note, proving to be a pipeline for higher representative honors.
