MLR Champions the New England Free Jacks and the Massachusetts State Lottery Team Up to Celebrate Good Deeds in the Community

Massachusetts Lottery to be the Presenting Partner of the Impact Free Jack Outstanding Community Honoree Awards

QUINCY, MA (October 10, 2024). Back-to-back Major League Rugby (MLR) Champions, the New England Free Jacks, are teaming up with the Massachusetts State Lottery to celebrate everyday people doing great work in the community. This exciting collaboration will recognize 16 outstanding individuals during the 2025 season who have made a significant and positive impact in their communities.

Beginning this month and continuing through the end of the 2025 MLR season, honorees will be nominated by peers in the community, then selected and announced regularly each month. The Impact Free Jack presented by the Mass Lottery outstanding community honorees will be guests of the Free Jacks and presented at each of the eight regular season home matches during the 2025 season.

The Mass Lottery, which provides over $1 billion annually for unrestricted local aid to cities and towns in the state, has partnered with numerous professional and collegiate sports teams over the last two decades to recognize and celebrate those who are making a difference in their communities.
