About the Toy Drive:

The Free Jacks are extending their support to Franciscan Children’s Hospital by organizing a toy drive at this weekend’s International Festival. This initiative aims not only to provide much-needed entertainment but also to foster a sense of joy and connection for the young patients undergoing treatment.

All attendees of the May 5th game are encouraged to participate by bringing along a brand-new toy to donate to this noble cause. It’s essential to adhere to specific guidelines to ensure the safety and appropriateness of the donations:

  • All donations must be new, odor-free, and in their original packaging.
  • Avoid items such as used toys, collector items, and those with violent or culturally insensitive themes.
  • Toys must have been purchased within the last six months.
  • Gift-wrapped items will be unwrapped prior to distribution.
  • Please refrain from donating medical supplies, food, or religious-themed items.

For those eager to contribute but seeking guidance on suitable items, the following list offers some suggestions:

  • Interactive toys (e.g., puzzles, board games, coloring books)
  • Stuffed animals and dolls
  • Art and craft supplies
  • Age-appropriate books and educational materials
  • Your generosity can make a significant difference in brightening the days of young patients at Franciscan Children’s Hospital. Together, we can create moments of joy and alleviate some of the challenges they face during their journey to recovery.

Fans are asked to drop off their donations beside the box office, or at the entry to Welch field for anyone taking part in the tackle clinic.

Let’s unite in the spirit of giving and show our support for the young warriors at Franciscan Children’s Hospital. Bring a toy, share a smile, and join us as we make a difference, one gift at a time. Go Free Jacks!
